A fourteenth-century treatise on the use of one's tongue (in both senses, speaking and eating), written alongside Frutti della lingua, the latter on the virtues that come from the good use of the tongue, and Pungi lingua on the vices from bad use, in particular gluttony and the dangers of excessive talking.
