This ‘All-Star Edition’ complete uniform was worn in the first half by Stephen Curry during the 2024 NBA All-Star Game on February 18, 2024.

Stephen Curry made his 10th appearance at the 2024 NBA All-Star Game. Picking up where he left off from All-Star Saturday Night’s NBA vs WNBA 3-Point Challenge, Curry hit a few deep 3’s in the first quarter. A few minutes later, he showed off his passing skills by dishing a no-look pass to a cutting Anthony Davis for a slam. Arguably his top highlight of the night came with just a minute to go when he blocked a cutting Paolo Banchero from behind, who was about to throw down a thunderous two-handed slam. It was a rare defensive bright spot in the high-scoring shootout between the two teams. To close out the first half, Curry drilled another pair of deep 3’s near the half court logo - a sight fans across the league have grown accustomed to.

Curry played the role of facilitator in the second half, finding former teammate Kevin Durant with a no-look behind-the-back pass in the corner. He later found Karl-Anthony Towns early twice in the paint, feeding him no-look wraparound passes for easy scores as defenders flew by. Curry’s tight handle and crafty footwork always draws adoration from the crowd as his full arsenal was on display this night. Curry went on to finish with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 block.

Going Deeper | Stephen Curry

Selected by the Golden State Warriors as the 7th overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, Curry quickly emerged as an elite scoring and playmaking threat as a point guard. He averaged 17.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds and finished second in the Rookie of the Year award voting. Although Curry’s skillset and potential shined bright, the Warriors failed to make the playoffs in his first three seasons. This all changed after the Warriors drafted shooting guard Klay Thompson in 2011. Soon thereafter, Curry and Thompson emerged as the most dangerous shooting backcourt in the game, and were dubbed the ‘Splash Brothers’.

After two consecutive playoff appearances in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, Curry and the Warriors finally broke through in the 2014-15 NBA Playoffs. The Warriors’ balanced offensive attack of Curry, Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala enabled them to defeat LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers for the franchise’s first championship since the 1974-1975 season. In addition, Curry was voted league MVP. As it turned out, the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ was just getting started.

Curry helped the Warriors win three more championships in 2017, 2018, and 2022. His career accomplishments include nine All-NBA selections, two MVPs, one Finals MVP, and two scoring titles. In 2021, Curry passed Ray Allen to become the all-time leader in three-pointers in NBA history. He is widely considered perhaps the greatest shooter and one of the best players of all time.
