This ‘City Edition’ complete uniform was worn by Tyrese Haliburton on February 17, 2024, in the Kia Skills Challenge and Starry 3-Point Contest. Haliburton was part of Team Pacers, alongside Bennedict Mathurin and Myles Turner. They went on to win the Skills Challenge over Team All-Stars. This jersey was also worn by Haliburton in the 3-Point Contest.
Pacers star guard Tyrese Haliburton was tapped as the unofficial host of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend as the NBA world returned to Indianapolis for All-Star Weekend festivities for the first time in decades. Haliburton, selected as an All-Star starter for the Eastern Conference, put on a show in both events he participated in on All-Star Saturday. In the Skills Challenge, Haliburton showed off the versatility that makes him such a dangerous playmaker in the regular season. Team Pacers went on to win the competition on Haliburton’s half-court shot.
Haliburton carried the momentum into the 3-Point Contest, scoring 26 points in the first round to match the high score for the round. His competition would come to an end before the finals, as he was eliminated in the tiebreaker round. Haliburton kept it going into the All-Star Game the following day, as he would score 32 points on 10 made 3-pointers.
Tyrese Haliburton is one of the most exciting young guards in the NBA, leading a resurgent Pacers team. Originally drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the 12th pick in the 1st round of the 2020 NBA Draft, the Iowa State product made an immediate impact in the league on his way to being named to the 2020-2021 NBA All-Rookie 1st Team. He took his game to the next level after being traded to the Pacers during the 2021-2022 season, steadily increasing his points and assists per game each season in the league. Haliburton is a 2-time NBA All-Star, including being named a 2023-2024 starter for the Eastern Conference. During the first half of the 2023-2024 season, he led the Pacers to the In-Season Tournament Final.
