Oval form, on three shell feet with shell brackets, with gadroon borders, engraved with the crests and coronet of de Grey, hallmarked on the undersides; together with a George III cream jug, Edward Wakelin, London, 1760, engraved with the arms of Aislabie impaling Lawrence, hallmarked on the base rim.

The arms on the cream jug are those of Lawrence impaling Aislabie, for Captain William Lawrence (c.1723-1798), M.P. for Ripon from 1781-1798, and his wife Anna Sophia (1727-1802), daughter of William Aislabie of Studley Royal.
