In 2023, Risacher signed with JL Bourg and was quickly a standout star. He led JL Bourg to the EuroCup finals and was the second youngest player to win the 'EuroCup Rising Star' prize at just 18. Risacher was later named the Best Young Player of the 2023–24 LNB Élite season, averaging 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in only 22 minutes per game.

With Zaccharie Risacher being drafted 1st overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2024 NBA Draft, the French have produced back-to-back #1 overall picks in the NBA Draft for the first time in history.
