This home ‘Icon Edition’ jersey was worn by Gui Santos on Christmas Day when the Golden State Warriors played the Los Angeles Lakers.
Santos did not see any game action. The Warriors lost to the Lakers, 115-113.
As Brazil's only active NBA player, Santos played for his home country at the 2024 Paris Olympics; a leading figure on the team, Santos and his squad ultimately lost to Team USA in the quarterfinals of the Games. As a testament to his prowess on the court, Santos has also represented his home country in numerous FIBA Cups and led Brazil to a gold medal in the FIBA South America Under-17 Championship.
