oval, the lid centred with an oval enamel plaque of a young woman and two putti by an altar of love, in a gold frame chased with roses, on a wavy engine-turned ground framed by opaque dusky pink enamel borders, the sides and base similarly decorated, maker's mark, two further flowerhead marks, Hanau bird's head control mark for 19ct gold, Prague control mark for 1806-1824,
