In 2021 and 2022, Nike produced a limited series of league-specific Air Jordan 1 Lows, with exclusive samples created for NBA, WNBA, MLB, and NFL athletes.
Unreleased to the public, each pair, designed in the iconic Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette, featured a shimmering upper material reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 Jordan Brand Classic.
Produced in extremely limited quantities, this Air Jordan 1 Low MLB iteration stands out with a unique color scheme reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 Silver Toe. The pair features a cream mid-panel, a subtle purple-to-green gradient on the overlays, and silver accents on the toe and heel panels.
Notably, this sample features the ‘glitter’ material throughout the upper, whereas other iterations feature the glitter overlays, with a leather mid-panel.
The size tag reads “Air Jordan 1 RETRO LOW OG MLB.” This 2022 look-see sample also includes a sample stamp on the sockliner and two sample hangtags.
