Description
Château Canon La Gaffelière 2010
St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)
55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 70% new barrels. Lovely spicy nose and, on the palate, terrific, exotic and sumptuous. In 2013, a great coffee nose and a real "kick" in the flavour. Coffee and black fruit à go-go. Luscious, enveloping the whole palate. In 2014, wonderful impact on the nose. Terrific juiciness and perfect balance of fruit/acidity/tannin. Excellent. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
