A group of three agate snuff boxes with gold cagework mounts, various dates,

the first, 20th century, rectangular, the pale champagne-coloured quartz panels in plain gold mounts, small bow-shaped thumbpiece, 8.2 cm., 3 1/4 in. wide; the second, probably English, circa 1760, rectangular, honey-coloured translucent banded agate panels mounted à cage in chased scrollwork and flowers, bow-shaped thumbpiece, 4.9cm., 1 7/8 in. wide; the third, probably circa 1860, rectangular, the chased caramel-coloured agate panels with mossy inclusions, waisted sides, reeded gold mounts and engraved scrolls on lid mount and on the bow-shaped thumbpiece, 7.1cm., 2 3/4 in. wide
