In 2020, that deep 1928 colour, still crimson! Intense Cabernet/cassis/cedarwood nose - dark mahogany. On the palate, such incredible sweetness, glycerol and cherryish sumptuousness. Profound depth, silky texture - a Bordeaux monument. It might have taken decades to soften, but now... ouf! And this was a half bottle... Serena Sutcliffe, MW
