In 2019, a great, deep colour led to intense, concentrated cassis and cigars on the nose, irony in character and with all the depth of old vines. On the palate, power combined with harmony to produce an utterly complete wine of outstanding impact and force of flavour. A 1966 at its very best and a testament to perfect provenance and storage.
