An elaborately engraved tobacco box of similar form by this maker 1754 is described and illustrated in John Endlich Marius van Dam, Nederlandse zilveren Tabaksdozen 1650-1800, no. 26, pp. 78-79. Another by him of 1756, with perpetual calendar and moon phases and a poem, no. 29 is on pages 88-89.
