elongated octagonal with shaped top and base, the top engraved with a shore battery firing at passing ships, in the foreground a rowboat and the masts of a sunken ship, the base engraved with a ship exploding while a fleet of seven ships sails off to the left, with two sailors swimming to safety, the sides with scrolling foliage, marked inside base
