A silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel punchbowl and ladle, punchbowl by Saltykov, ladle Fabergé, Moscow, late 19th century


the punchbowl enamelled all over in polychrome shaded enamel foliate scrolls, flowers, beading and teardrops, the ladle enamelled on the handle with a border of foliate motifs and beading along the upper edge of the bowl, the punchbowl struck to the base and in the field with maker's initials in Cyrillic, the ladle struck to the bottom of the handle end with K. Fabergé in Cyrillic and the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard

punchbowl height 18.5cm, 7¼in.; ladle length 26.5cm, 10⅜in.
