Description

A Behind-the-Scenes Look at an Multi-Award-Winning Composer at Work

Step into the creative heart of Hollywood with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz (La La Land, Whiplash, Babylon) in action during a live orchestral recording session for his upcoming film, directed by longtime collaborator Damien Chazelle.

This intimate experience offers rare access inside the recording studio, revealing the highpressure, deeply collaborative world of film scoring. Watch music come to life as Justin refines cues, works with the orchestra and shapes a cinematic vision in real time.

A group of five guests will be personally welcomed on-site by a member of Justin’s team. Justin will make every effort to greet the guests with a handshake and brief hello, schedule permitting. Due to the nature of recording days, extended personal time cannot be guaranteed.

While a 120-minute window is recommended, guests are welcome to stay longer. Recording sessions typically last three to six hours each day. This experience will take place in Los Angeles or London, with the exact location and date confirmed closer to production. Flexibility is essential.

Ideal for music lovers, film aficionados and anyone fascinated by the creative process behind some of Hollywood’s most iconic soundtracks.

Unforgettable. Personal. Unrepeatable.

Valid for 12 months from auction date, subject to Justin Hurwitz’s availability. International flights and local transits are not included in the winning bid. This experience location is dependent upon Justin’s schedule. National Gallery Singapore will connect the winning bidder with Layla Pi to arrange the experience. Terms and conditions apply.
