Rooted in Gérald Genta’s original Royal Oak design, the offshore has become one of the most celebrated members of Audemars Piguet’s repertoire.The present example is a later generation Offshore, identifiable by its sapphire display back, ceramic-topped pushers and crown, and the in-house calibre 3126/3840 visible beneath the yellow gold oscillating weight. The striking blue Méga Tapisserie dial with contrasting registers and Arabic numerals gives the watch a strong presence while maintaining clear legibility. The integrated date magnifier at 3 o’clock is a characteristic feature of the Offshore design. Numbered No. 4128 to the case back and offered with a practical rubber strap, it represents a robust and highly recognisable iteration of Audemars Piguet’s landmark
