Ruby and diamond ring, Van Cleef & Arpels, circa 1974

Collet-set with a cabochon ruby stated to weigh 18.13 carats within a double border of brilliant-cut diamonds, size 52, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered , maker's marks for Robert Ehret (Les succ. d'), French assay marks for platinum and gold, case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 23070058, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating; together with a copy a Van Cleef & Arpels insurance valuation, dated 18 February 2008.
