13½-inch dial with rococo spandrels, signed John Dalton, Dublin, matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and ringed winding holes, rack and bell striking movement, the case with swan neck cresting and urn finial above a boldly carved foliate frieze and Corinthian-capped reeded hood pilasters, shaped trunk door, panelled plinth with carved rosettes to the corners, on ogeee bracket feet
