William & George Sissons, Sheffield, 1869

the glass body (possibly by Schiller for Stevens & William) engraved with fantastical creatures amid masks and foliage, both sides also engraved with a monogram and crest which is repeated as the finial of the lid, the handle formed as a caryatid,

height 29cm., 11 1/4in.
