Nike SB Dunk Low Concepts ‘White Lobster’ Friends and Family | 1st Round Sample | Size 9

Nike and CNCPTS collaborations on the 'Lobster' SB Dunks remain some of the most iconic and coveted designs in the Nike Dunk lineup. Since their introduction in 2008, the series has included seven editions—five general releases and two exclusive friends-and-family pairs. The concept draws inspiration from the classic New England lobster dinner experience.

Creator Rob Heppler explained the idea’s origins in an interview with Sneaker News:

“I was looking at the Nike SB webpage and only two shoes jumped out at me. Then I thought about Nick Diamond’s Tiffany Dunk and that Gucci one. They both had that weird luxury thing. So then I’m like, ‘F*ck. What does Boston have?’ When someone’s visiting, they always want to have lobster. Lobster is the only thing on the menu that says ‘market price,’ or considered to be very expensive.”

In 2023, CNCPTS and Nike SB introduced the White Lobster, the latest iteration of the iconic series. Reserved exclusively for Friends and Family, the Nike SB Dunk Low White Lobster featured a predominantly white and Photon dust upper, with light gray accents on the interior lining, and rubber band. 

Exceptionally rare, this 1st Round Sample features subtle differences compared to the wider White Lobster release. Most notably, the pair features a light blue speckling on the upper and interior lining pattern. The pair also features green rubber bands, which were later changed to gray during the CNCPTS release.
