Nike SB Dunk Low 'HUF' Friends and Family | Production Sample | Size 9

In 2022, Nike SB and skate brand HUF teamed up again, to celebrate HUF’s 20th anniversary, and to pay homage to the brand’s founder, the late, Keith Hufnagel. The result, The Nike SB Dunk Low HUF. In a nod to Keith’s experiences in New York, and his home in San Fransisco, the Nike SB Dunk Low HUF, released two variations of the shoe to the public, each drawing inspiration from the cities they represent.   

‘The New York’ pair features blue and white paneling throughout the shoe, and the ‘San Francisco’ color scheme was made up of black and white. Both pairs also feature their respective city skylines on the heel of the shoe, and the phrase “Keith Forever’ on the heel tab. A tie-dye mid panel, that is revealed once the leather is cut away, pays homage to the original HUF Dunk High. 

Each pair was also sealed in a “blind bag”, keeping the version of the shoe, hidden to the owner. On the bag, photos of the New York and San Fransisco dunks were featured and a silhouette of a third shoe was featured - titled ‘Mystery’.

In tandem with the release, Nike also created 74 numbered pairs of the Friends and Family iteration of the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘HUF’.  

Offered in this lot is a unique sample from the production of the HUF Friends and Family colorway. Notably, this sample features an alternate volt green lining, in contrast to the gray lining found on other examples. As a production sample, this pair also lacks the etched edition number out of 74, which is present on other Friends and Family pairs.
