Circa 1790

• Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, plain flat three-arm balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation plate, cylindrical pillars, repeating à toc on blocks mounted to inside case band, backplate stamped SF

• Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, aperture for winding, moon hands (lacking tip to hour hand), signed De Belle, Rue St. Honoré

• Case: gold, the back with translucent blue guilloché enamel overlaid with stylised gilt peacock feathers heightened with translucent green and red enamel, split pearl-set bezels, plunge pendant for repeat, inside back with indistinct control mark and maker's mark
