Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance cock, fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, signed Rt Preston, Liverpool, no.898

Dial: white enamel, Arabic numerals, gold arrowhead hands, aperture for winding

Case: gold, the back with ruby coloured translucent enamel over engine-turning, outer white enamel banding with gold foliate highlights, further bands of translucent red guilloché enamel, stirrup-form bow, front and back bezel hallmarked
