The Rolex Datejust 1601 is probably one of the brand’s most recognizable models, with the extremely versatile Jubilé bracelet look. It can be equally great with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt than with a suit and tie. The classic yet daily-perfect wristwatch underwent several iterations and received both technical and design changes throughout its long production.
The present example boasts an early black glossy dial, which gives it such a distinctive and vintage look. The glossy Datejusts were quickly replaced due to their fragility and propension to crack.
