The IWC Big Pilot takes its inspiration from the B-Uhr from 1940 made as military navigator’s watches.

The brand introduced again the B-Uhr, also called Big Pilot, model in 2OO2 under the reference 5002.

Since then, IWC has diversified this historically important design to meet the strong apetite from enthusiasts for this collection. Amonst them, some are perpetual calendar watches. This one is very special as it was made in stainless steel, a material rarely used for highly complicated watches. Furthermore, it is one of a limited series of 250 pieces only. It has a captivating black dial with bright orange indexes and hands, making it extremely readable.
