Patek Philippe introduced the 5227 in 2013. This extremely elegant piece with modern proportions is the first Calatrava case with an officer case. It allows the owner to admire the movement by opening the hinged back while keep it mechanical part of the watch protected by a sapphire display cuvette.
It embarks the latest version of the automatic calibre 324 with central rotor. The dial has a metal base and is lacquered. The indexes and the hands are made of gold.
Ten years after its introduction, the 5227 is already considered as an important and highly collectible Calatrava reference by collectors.
