In 2023 and from magnum, this was the star of a great evening, bursting out of the glass in cassis splendour and sheer impact. The palate is totally engulfed in the black fruit, glycerol and structure, with the inherent tannins of the vintage utterly coated with sweetness and velvety volume. It seems suspended in time, in all its succulence, depth and power. Mouton on fire! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
