Another copy of the Lyonese counterfeit of the 1502 Aldine edition, a line-for-line copy including the error on the title-page and the end title.
8vo (162 x 100 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-E8 F4 [2]A-D8 [2]E4 G-P8 (F3-4 and P7 blank): 152 leaves. (Without blank P7, dampstained, wormhole at head of last few quires, first few leaves frayed at head.)
binding: Contemporary brown morocco with blind-tooled border (166 x 104 mm), later gilt lettering GR | CATULUS | TIBULUS | PROPERC | GR on both covers, edges gilt and gauffered with later lettering along edges, stubs from four pairs of ties. (Upper hinge broken, first quire almost detached, binding worn at edges, gilt edges rubbed.)
