F.P. Journe is known for putting his own spin on the most prestigious complications in watchmaking. This identity is very much visible in his landmark Tourbillon series, but can also be seen in the simple Octa, or the present LineSport Rattrapante. The split seconds chronograph is a benchmark complication, highly technical due to its ability to simultaneously time two separate objects or events by splitting the chronograph seconds hand upon demand. When Journe chose to tackle this challenge, he once again subverted expectations by presenting the finished watch in a sporty case with integrated bracelet, unlike the majority of dress-oriented rattrapante wristwatches.

Built for everyday wear, the movement incorporates a big date at six o'clock on the dial, enhancing the functionality, while the dial is treated with ruthenium, calling back to Journe’s highly desirable early series. The pink gold bracelet wears with heft and comfort on the wrist, making for a sporty companion that is still excellent for all occasions.
