Unveiled at Baselworld 2011 and produced until 2017, the Reference 7000 in pink gold represented Patek Philippe’s first purpose-built ladies’ minute repeater of the modern era. Given the manufacture’s historic achievement of creating the world’s first minute-repeating wristwatch for a woman in 1916, the introduction of this model was both a significant milestone and a fitting revival of a longstanding tradition.

At its heart lies the automatic calibre R 27 PS. The movement is wound by an exquisitely decorated micro-rotor, visible through the sapphire crystal display back. Ingeniously integrated into the architecture of the calibre, the micro-rotor preserves an unobstructed view of the minute repeater’s hammers and gongs, allowing the wearer to fully appreciate the artistry and complexity of the mechanism. The present watch is also housed in an elegant officer-style case crafted from pink gold, a size that offers notable wrist presence while maintaining a refined feminine character. Further complementing the watch are the applied Breguet numerals.

Owing to the immense skill and time required to assemble a minute repeater of this calibre, production numbers were extremely limited, and only a handful have surfaced publicly since their release.
