circa 2nd Century A.D., with 18th Century Restorations
with a right hand firmly grasping the left horn; the body probably restored, including the hindlegs.
Height as restored 66 cm.

The fragment must indeed have been belonging to a statue of Hermes. Cf. a Hermes-statue in Athens, holding a ram by its horn: LIMC, vol. 5, p. 314, no. 298, pl. 225.
