turned to his left, with short hair, full beard, deep-set eyes under a prominent brow, and weary expression, his hair surmounted by a wreath of poplar leaves; no restorations.

Height 30 cm.

private collection, reputedly found at Carthage in the 1930s
thereafter private collection, Nice, France, by descent in the 1950s
