Gérald Genta is known for many historically significant designs, including the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. After launching his own brand in 1969, he went on to create exceptional watches distinguished by their complications and distinctive case shapes.

The present watch, offered in very good overall condition, features a rare mother‑of‑pearl–textured dial with an external date display and a fan‑shaped power reserve indicator. The tourbillon is positioned at 6 o’clock, and turning the watch over reveals the calibre 12100 movement, intricately engraved with remarkable detail.
