Marisa was only 26 years old when she started her collection with Composition abstraite, 1962 by Serge Poliakoff bought at the Galerie Bonnier in Lausanne in 1962. The gallery curated a solo show with a selection of recent works from 1961 and 1962 directly chosen from Poliakoff’s studio in Paris, a period during which the artist’s reached its finest hours and international recognition. This first acquisition paved Marisa’s way into contemporary art and already demonstrated a vivid interest and a bold eye for artistic movements of her time.
