Richard Lorenz, Imogen Cunningham: Ideas without End, A Life in Photographs (San Francisco, 1993), cover and pl. 104

"While I was a student at UC Berkeley in the Fall of 1976 William Garnett held weekly seminars by influential people in the photographic community. Imogen Cunningham’s son, Rondal Partridge, bought a dozen original photographs into class. I had an epiphany when I saw Unmade Bed with its undulating simplistic beauty. Up until that time my interest had been in the external landscape. With the folds in the bedding it reminded me of the sensual qualities of the dunes by f/64 photographers. The love and lifelong passion for the medium led me to open the Scott Nichols gallery in 1992, specializing in Group f/64." - Scott Nichols

The Scott Nichols Gallery shows established and contemporary photographers with an emphasis on classic California photographers in the f/64 tradition.
