A VICTORIAN 9CT GOLD SOVEREIGN CASE, ALFRED WIGLEY, BIRMINGHAM, 1899


circular fob-shaped with spot-hammered finish, pendant ring, 4.5cm., 1 3/4 in. overall height; and three Sovereigns (1872, 1874 ad 1911); and the following items: a gold money clip, shaped and engraved in the form of a pair of gentleman's boxer shorts, the reverse engraved with the initials FD in monogram, applied gold-cased pin, unmarked, probably American, circa 1930, 4cm., 1 1/2 in. high; a small square silver-gilt box, interior with bevelled mirror, ivory base, the hinged lid set with an inlaid mother of pearl panel, the underside inscribed: 'AFTER AN INDIAN M.S. (ABOUT 1750) ''POLO IN INDIA'',' maker's mark BP, Austrian, 5cm., 2in. square; and two gold reproduction fob seals, each with swivel triangular matrixes, in early 18th century style, approximately 4.5cm., 1 3/4 in. high
