Urwerk UR-210 Black Platinum – The Stealth Interceptor

A timepiece or a spacecraft? The Urwerk UR-210 Black Platinum is both—a dark, silent interceptor gliding through the horological cosmos. Forged in platinum and titanium, its case is cloaked in PE-CVD, a smoky black armor that absorbs light like a void in space.

Beneath this stealth exterior, time unfolds in Urwerk’s signature orbital display, where satellite hours sweep across the dial like celestial bodies locked in gravitational precision. A flash of glowing red cuts through the darkness—its power reserve and winding efficiency indicators pulsing like the core of an interstellar engine.

Since its founding in 1997, Urwerk has drawn inspiration from spacecraft and the radical aesthetics of science fiction. Felix Baumgartner, the watchmaker, and Martin Frei, the designer, envisioned a future where timepieces weren’t bound by tradition but engineered like instruments from an undiscovered civilization. The UR-210 is the embodiment of that vision—an alien artifact masquerading as a wristwatch.

Born in 2017, the UR-210 isn’t just designed to tell time—it’s built to warp it. An instrument for those who navigate beyond the known horizons.
