In 2018, this is pure textbook Perrin, mega aromatic and with that Rhône-like definition and earthy splendour. On the palate, it is rich and liquorice flavoured, coating the inside of the mouth with both tannin and opulence. Not a shrinking, or drinking, violet, this wraps itself round you with warmth and individuality. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
