In 2003, Poltronova reissued the Superbox l'Amatore del Magnetofono. Ettore Sottsass, who supervised the project, drew on the possibilities offered by technical progress, which made the furniture's joints invisible, delivering a perfect parallelepiped with clean-cut edges. The purity of this 2003 edition makes us forget the functional aspect of the Superbox and reinforces its enigmatic character.

En 2003, Poltronova lance la réédition de la Superbox l’Amatore del Magnetofono. Ettore Sottsass qui supervise le projet s’appuie sur les possibilités offertes par les progrès techniques qui rendent invisibles les assemblages des meubles et livrent un parfait parallélépipède aux arrêtes nettes. L’épure de cette édition de 2003 fait oublier l’aspect fonctionnel de la Superbox et renforce un peu plus son caractère énigmatique.
