Three woodblock prints from the series A Child's Mirror of the Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety (Nijushi ko doji kagami)

Edo period, 19th century

 

each a woodblock print, from the series A Child's Mirror of the Twenty-four Paragons of Filial Piety (Nijushi ko doji kagami), each signed Ichuyusai Kuniyoshi ga (Pictured by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi), published by Wakasaya Yoichi (Jakurindo), circa 1843; each with collector's seal of Gerhard Pulverer to verso, and comprising:

 

- Meng Zong (Moso)

- Master Zeng (Soshin)

- Lu Ji (Rikuseki)
