woodblock print, urushi-e, with hand-applied colour, embellished with gold and metallic pigment, titled Shiki no hana-uri, sanbantsuki, chu (Peddler of Flowers of the Four Seasons; a set of three, the middle sheet), circa 1738; with collector’s seal of Gerhard Pulverer to verso
