This dress dates c.1970 and Marianne was photographed wearing it in February 1978 for the Daily Mail when she was promoting the release of her single ‘The Way You Want Me To Be’ from her Celtic country and western album ‘Faithless’. Backed by The Grease Band, the album marked Marianne’s return to music and was her first long player in almost a decade. Marianne scored a number one hit in Ireland with another track from the album ‘Dreamin’ My Dreams’.
