Oil on canvas. Signed lower right FAS ’85. Signed on verso Frank Sinatra ’85.
Accompanied by a handwritten note believed to have been written by Sinatra in black ink on brown wrapping paper. It reads as follows:
“Dot – Here is your picture!
Now stop hollering at me!

This painting was gifted by Sinatra to Dorothy Uhlemann, his executive assistant of many years. Sinatra was a prolific painter, painting throughout the 1950s to the 1990s, although his work was never offered for sale by him. Instead, they were often gifted to friends and family, or kept in his own property. This painting is featured in the Sinatra Publication, Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Art (New York: Random House, 1991).
