woodblock print, signed Shunko ga (Pictured by Shunko), 2nd month 1778


Vertical hosoban: 31 x 14.6 cm., 12¼ x 6¼ in.

The two actors are depicted performing at the Ichimura Theatre in early 1778. The main feature was the play 'Kokimazete Takao Soga', and depicted here is the play's finale 'Medake Odake Bunshin Goro'.
