Qing dynasty, 18th century
清十八世紀 白玉玉蘭花式盃
well carved as a tall magnolia flower with layered petals forming the walls of the vessel, stemming from a gnarled branch bearing further buds, the stone an even white tone with milky inclusions
Height 11.5 cm, 4½ in.
Purchased on 29th November 1957 (K/32).
