NIKE, NIKE MESH SHORTS, SIZE 44 (LENGTH +2)
MESH
These home ‘Association Edition’ shorts were worn by Giannis Antetokounmpo on November 13, 2024, when the Milwaukee Bucks played the Detroit Pistons.
Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double, finishing with 59 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks. The Bucks beat the Pistons, 127-120. Antetokounmpo also had his 1,000th career block in this game.
On a cold night in Milwaukee on November 13th, Giannis Antetokounmpo reminded the world why he won 2 MVPs, an NBA championship, and is considered one of the greatest players of all time. Antetokounmpo delivered one of his best performances of his career, scoring 59 points on the Pistons, just short of his career high of 64. This performance was all the Bucks needed to remind the league that they are still one of the top teams in the league. From that point on the Bucks went 11-3 and won the NBA Cup, blowing out the talented Thunder in the championship. Giannis went on to win the NBA Cup MVP.
Nicknamed the ‘Greek Freak’ because of his home country and freakish athleticism, Giannis Antetokounmpo is arguably the league’s most dominant player. Beginning his professional career with the Milwaukee Bucks after being selected 15th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, Antetokounmpo quickly emerged as a game-changing player with his extraordinary athleticism and versatility.
Antetokounmpo’s resume is already Hall of Fame worthy. He won back-to-back league MVPs in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. He was also named Defensive Player of the Year in the later season. Following the 2020-2021 season, Giannis added an NBA Finals MVP and All-Star Game MVP to his trophy case. His 50-point and 14-rebound performance in the series-clinching Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals is one of the greatest individual NBA Finals game performances of all time.
Antetokounmpo is a 9-time NBA All-Star, a 7-time All-NBA 1st Team member, a 2-time All-NBA 2nd Team member, and has been named to 5 NBA All-Defensive Teams. He is also part of the 75th Anniversary Team, and the youngest player named to the team.
The NBA 75th Anniversary Team was selected by a blue-ribbon panel of players, coaches, general managers, and sportswriters who voted on the 75 Greatest Players in NBA History. Only 11 active players were selected for the team including Giannis Antetokounmpo.
At the time of cataloging, he has career averages of 23.8 points per game, 9.9 rebounds per game, and 4.9 assists per game.
