In 2015, at its entrée into society, and the fourth Ambonnay to be produced, an extraordinary 'winey' nose. Almost a 'thick' texture. Hazelnuts and walnuts are the dominant flavours. Very definitely a 'food' Champagne and I loved it with escargots à la Bourguignonne! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
