Cabernet Sauvignon 83%, Merlot 15%, Cabernet Franc 1%, Petit Verdot 1%. In 2021, a gloriously cassis nose, aromatic and punchy - and pure Pauillac First Growth! On the palate, the 'blackcurrant juice' is quite 'feminine' for Mouton, in its charm allied to power, and then comes the flesh and depth. A tremendously constructed wine, with every aspect in place and at its apogee, be it tannins, fruit, harmony or freshness. This has the balance to last decades - undoubtedly one of the greats.
