Meritalia presented the Shadow armchair model at the 2010 edition of the Salone del Mobile, Milan
Shadow armchair, has been named by Gaetano Pesce to underline the absence of the body and the presence of its memory, in fact the shape it is the result of injection of polyurethane foam, expanding and solidifying unpredictably; process developed and perfected by Meritalia.
Once the company has patented this technique, they add on the Shadow armchair a lead seal closing the zip on the top.
