“I realised with the Kryads that I wanted to make the entire sculptures black because I felt that black was the maximum expression of weight and I wanted to add the vision of weight; later, I interpreted this as implosion. I worked for many years in black because after the Kryads we get to the Aekyad which were completely black for many years.”
